AGM 2024 Committee of Management Election Results
Date: 11 December 2024
Thank you to all who attended the AGM on Saturday 30th November at Potahi Marae in Te Kao, in person and via Zoom.
Committee of Management positions available.
There were three vacancies this year and we wish to advise that May Lee Takawe, Ngainanga Kapa and Rosie Conrad have been elected to fill those vacancies.
To ensure our election process was fair, transparent and secure, the Returning Officer and Scrutineers were selected because they are not connected to the Incorporation by way of whanau shareholdings.
Thank you to all who had a say by voting in this year’s election, and to those who put themselves forward to serve Pārengarenga Incorporation as candidates.
Ngā mihi.

Tēnā koutou katoa
To the shareholders whom we correspond with by post, we apologise for the delay in your receiving your voting pack, including ballots to be submitted for your choice of candidate to represent you on the Committee of Management. This delay was occasioned by the printers' problems in delivering the mailout to New Zealand Post.
-
As a result, we have extended the voting deadline. We will accept all postal votes received at our offices (by mail or personally) before 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
-
The votes will be counted under the Secretary of the Incorporation (Barry Bouton) authority, who will appoint independent scrutineers to tally the vote count.
-
The results of the election to our Committee of Management will be posted on our website (www.parengarenga.co.nz) before 4.00 pm on Wednesday 11 December.
The Annual Report of the Incorporation is also available on our website.
We encourage you to exercise your right as a shareholder to vote and, once again, apologise for the delay in receiving this voting pack.
